Hosted by Dr. Bob Lawrence of Jazz Piano Skills and The Dallas School of Music, today’s challenge puts both your melodic and harmonic skills to the test. You’ll work through broken triads across the II–V–I Progression using a blend of arpeggio and scale motion—a powerful technique for building strong jazz vocabulary.

Dr. Lawrence demonstrates the challenge in the Key of Bb using C–7 → F7 → BbMaj7, and brave participants can take it further by practicing the routine in all 12 keys!
